I have partnered with RAGU to bring you this Kid Made and Kid Approved: Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shell’s! It is an easy weeknight dinner you can enjoy making with the kids!
First I have to say that I cant believe RAGU is celebrating it’s 80th birthday! Growing up my mom always used Ragu for spaghetti or lasagna. As a kid I didn’t even realize there was different kinds of pasta sauces, it was literally all she used.
When I am making spaghetti or anything else that requires pasta sauce, I almost always buy RAGU. And I am not just saying that because they sponsored this post.
I am sure glad I had the opportunity to do this post, because their new sauces are very good. At least the one I tried is. It will definitely be my go to sauce from now on.
Cj has been showing a whole lot more interest in cooking as of lately, so I wanted to come up with something we could do together. I have been itching to try these Ricotta and Spinach stuffed shell’s for quite sometime now, and this was the perfect opportunity.
I precooked the pasta shells and the spinach and we were ready!
CJ had a great time stuffing the shell’s and then adding Ragu’s Homestyle Thick and Hearty Traditional Sauce to the top.
Paired with some garlic bread and a fresh green salad, our ricotta and spinach stuffed shell’s turned out delicious!
Confession time! I ended up having to remake the recipe in order to remake the video. So, most of the pictures are from the first time we made them.
This post (and video) was a ton of fun to create! And dinner was delicious!
CJ and Savanna are both already asking to make another cooking video, so stay tuned!
Thank you so much for this RAGU!
Have you tried RAGU’s new sauces? Let me know in the comments! Also, if you were inspired by CJ’s video to make your own Ricotta and Spinach Stuffed Shell’s, please let me know!
